The Washington Presbyterian Church 46th annual Apple Festival is Saturday, October 19, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Washington Presbyterian Park & Pavilion, 7405 Washington Pike, Knoxville.

There is no admission or parking fee but plenty of goodies to purchase with all proceeds from this event being donated to the mission projects of Wesley House, Morgan-Scott Project, Living Waters for the World and the local mission fund. It is a cash only event.

Festival highlights include:

  • Fried apple pies (get there early)
  • Fresh-pressed apple cider
  • Apple butter
  • Tamales
  • Bake sale
  • Grandma’s attic – gently used items for great prices
  • Country market – jellies, canned goods, crafts and other goodies
  • Barbeque & hot dog lunches

  • Antique tractors
