UT Pep Rallies, held in conjunction with WIVK Radio, have been popular this fall as enthusiasm grows about the Volunteer football program. One remaining event is scheduled for 3-6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at the Powell Food City, 7350 Clinton Hwy., before the Vols’ home game with Georgia on Nov. 13.
The Pep Rallies feature UT cheerleaders, members of the UT dance team and the team mascot, Smokey. All will generally pose for photos with your family. Meanwhile, those attending will enjoy free snacks, activities for the kids, and a chance to win tickets to the next day’s game.

Through November 30, Food City customers are invited to make a $1, $3 or $5 contribution as they check out or round up their order total to the next dollar amount. 100% of the proceeds raised will benefit local hunger relief organizations. Approximately six meals are provided for every dollar donated.
