The Vols came through against Florida, didn’t they? We’re all hoping for a big win against Bama this Saturday, too.

Last week, 1,153 documents were put on record in Knox County. This includes 285 Trust Deeds (loans) with a combined value of $141.23 million. The largest of 14 high-value loans was $32 million, backed by Citizens National Bank. Bank of Tennessee funded the second and third largest loans, one for $16.99 million, the other for $4 million. The others:

170 Warranty Deeds (property sales) with a total value of $75.6 million were topped by 13 with price tags over $1 million. The week’s most expensive sale is in Farragut where Clayton Properties Group Inc. sold the 59.4-acre tract surrounding the existing Ivey Farms subdivision to Domain Timberlake Multistate LLC for $4.78 million, Phase 2 coming soon!

Also, on the west side of town, an office building off Hardin Valley Road was another high-value sale. Williams Pellissippi Partnership sold the building at 2420 Cherahala Dr. in the Pellissippi Corporate Center to 2420 Cherahala 360 LLC for $3.51 million.

The striking modern building at 6512 Deane Hill Drive also landed on the closing table last week. 6512 Deane Hill Partnership sold the property to 6512 DH LLC for $2.32 million.

In the Halls community, one of the buildings on Regal Lane has been sold. Taylor and Lewis LLC sold 7140 Regal Lane to Brawnco Distribution LLC for $1.22 million. Story here.

In the eastern part of the county at 4600 Asheville Hwy. across from the U.S. Post Office, Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union purchased the 1.9-acre property from a private party for $1.07 million.
