Funeral services are today (9/3) for Lonnie Edgar Beal, business owner and longtime resident of Powell.
Mr. Beal, 62, passed away Aug. 31. He was a member of Beaver Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the son-in-law of the church’s longtime pastor, Jean Richardson.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. at the church with the funeral to follow, conducted by church pastor Thomas Sweet. His burial will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Taylors Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Beal is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sheena Beal; son, Isaac Beal of Baltimore; brother, Benny Beal; sister, Angela Goins; father- and mother-in-law, W. Jean and Regena Richardson; sister-in-law, Jeana Daniel and husband, Steve.
Mr. Beal owned and operated Quality Air Control and Powell Shoe Repair. Memorials be made to Beaver Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of arrangements.
