Tennessee State Trooper Grant Edward Gouldie, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and servant of God, succumbed to cancer on November 16, 2024, at age 34. Knox TN Today has written previous stories about Trooper Gouldie: here, here and here.
He leaves his wife, Amanda, and their three children: Maelynn, Jaxon and Ava. His full obituary is here. The family lives in Halls and attends Salem Baptist Church, but Trooper Gouldie grew up in Anderson County and that’s where he chose to have his service.
As related to Tom King, Gouldie was proud of his service in the THP, which he joined in 2016.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 2-6 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Second Baptist Church in Clinton, Tennessee. The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. The church is located at 777 Public Safety Ln., Clinton.
