Food City has scheduled grand opening, ribbon cutting and flag raising ceremonies for the new store at 6710 Malone Creek Dr., off Schaad Road for 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 31. The store manager is Tony Higginbotham, former manager of the Powell Food City.
The new store is full-service with a pharmacy, Starbucks, floral, fresh salad and fruit bar, hot bar, wine and beer, in-store butchers and fresh seafood. Ad specials good for 12 area stores are effective March 31-April 6: 3.31 Food City Ad – Knoxville Grand Opening
