November is a time of gathering. It is also a time of creativity and reflection at the Knox County Public Library. This month, we will gather for programs that take you from poetry to crafting to music. Here are just a few events coming up. Check out our online calendar for the complete offerings or print out Off the Shelf to have at your fingertips.
Poetrees!
Poetry and Hums aren’t things which you get, they’re things which get you. And all you can do is go where they can find you. Winnie-the-Pooh, Pooh’s Little Instruction Book, inspired by A. A. Milne
Knoxville Poet Laureates Rhea Carmon and Melody Dalili have created Poetrees at select libraries across Knox County. You’re invited to share a piece of poetry that inspires you. Open to all ages – kids to seniors. Your poem will be on display through November 15 then shared on social media. Follow the project @KnoxvillePoetLaureates on Instagram.
