Opening soon: New Harvest Dog Park

Bring your best friend for the grand opening of the New Harvest Dog Park, 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 4775 New Harvest Lane, Knoxville.

The park was funded with a $50,000 grant from the Boyd Foundation through KNDP (Knox Neighborhood Dog Parks) and joined by Meadowbrooke. It will be managed by Knox County Parks & Rec.

The Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley will be onsite with pet adoptions.

According to its website, PetSafe has been working for over a decade to create dog-friendly spaces across the United States through its trademarked Bark for Your Park program.

Since 2011, PetSafe has supported more than 80 dog parks in 40 U.S. states, totaling over $1.65 million in contributions. “This year, in celebration of our 25th anniversary as the world’s leading pet brand, we’re taking the program to the next level with PetSafe Unleashed.”
