Back to the Territories, a National Wrestling Alliance live event, will crown a new champion on June 1, 2024, 7 p.m. at Karns High School, 2710 Byington Solway Road.

Back to the Territories is a joint professional wrestling and fundraising spectacle which will donate a portion of all ticket sales to Knoxville’s Karns High School football team.

The NWA Mid-America title was defended throughout Tennessee for generations under iconic wrestling promoters Frank Gulas and Jerry Jarrett. The championship has been held by Hall of Famers like Jerry “The King” Lawler, “Macho Man” Randy Savage and “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers.

Now for the first time since the belt’s retirement in 1988, a new era of NWA stars will compete for the coveted strap.

This event will be filmed for later broadcast on NWA’s weekly flagship program NWA Powerrr, available through the NWA’s streaming agreement with The CW Network.

Ticket information can be found here. Doors open at 6:00 with bell time at 7:00.
