Bonnie Boyce with Mia and Kaiden
Mia is a four-year-old rescued Great Pyrenees Border Collie who, along with her human, Bonnie Boyce, are beloved HABIT visitors to the pediatric patients at Methodist Therapy Services in Oak Ridge. Mia and Kaiden have become best buds over time and now eagerly greet each other with hugs and kisses during Mia’s weekly visits.
Methodist Therapy Services has one of the area’s largest pediatric therapy programs with an entire second floor dedicated to building life skills in an encouraging and happy environment. The center specializes in physical, speech and occupational therapy for both children and adults.
We are so thankful for the HABIT program and all of the precious dogs and their owners who volunteer and bring joy to our patients and employees throughout our facilities.
