KCDC will officially open Liberty Place, a 32-unit permanent supportive housing development for veterans, located six miles from the William C. Tallent Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Outpatient Clinic on Ray Mears Boulevard and one mile from McNabb Center Military Services. The official opening is Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024. Support requested
KCDC is seeking partners to support the development of Liberty Place. Initial asks included rocking chairs for outside each unit, community room activities and supplies, and equipment for outdoor gathering spaces.
Ongoing needs include sponsors for linens, soft goods, hygiene items and kitchen supplies for each unit. Contact mmoazen@kcdc.org to request a full list. Donors may contribute one time or on a monthly plan.
