Badger has a favorite photography location near my abode where there’s an almost 360-degree view of the sky.
Since Asheville IS called the Land of the Sky, then having that sky available for sunset photos is a blessing. Another bonus is that the sun moves from south to north then back to south every year so a different mountain is generally featured in seasonal photos. I’ve not met too many viewers who don’t enjoy a mountain sunset.
At times, though, the mountains don’t necessarily line up with the color so improvisation is warranted. The featured photo is one such example.
One wouldn’t think that a leafless tree in November flanked by two evergreens against the sky would work well as a visual delight. In this instance, however, the color palette of the sky made the scene come alive.
This photo was the most favorite one on my social media platforms this past week. You take what you need from a scene and leave the rest. Hope you enjoy!
