On Teacher Appreciation Day, May 7, 2024, Karns Elementary teachers were greeted with a huge yard sign on their way into school. The We Love Our Teachers sign was placed by Sign Dreamers of Knoxville, a local company that signs yards for special occasions.
Owner Tori Rose started this giveaway on April 22 for all public elementary schools in Knox County by posting on social media all the schools’ logos and welcoming competition by the most likes or loves among schools ending May 1. Karns won with 1.4K likes and loves.
