John Whitehead gets Lifetime Achievement Award

Knox County Property Assessor John Whitehead was inducted into the Hall of Fame on July 10, 2024, and was recognized by the Tennessee Association of Assessing Officers with the Lifetime Achievement Award, the highest honor given to assessors.

In awarding Whitehead, Executive Director Will Denami said, “We sincerely appreciate your service and all that you have done for assessors across the state.”

Jackie Raley reiterated John Whitehead’s impact, “John has been a great mentor to so many.”

As she is leaving office herself, Raley also said, “It has truly been a pleasure serving with and getting to know this amazing group of people. The assessors will always have my heart. Their professionalism and dedication are unmatched.”
