Food City, as the official grocery store of the UT Vols, participated in the Big Orange Hangout July 28 at Dick’s House of Sports at West Town Mall. Intermittent rain forced us inside a couple of times, but we stayed outside as much as possible. The event featured UT athletes, food & drinks, games, live media broadcasts and more.

Starbucks is opening inside the LaFollette, Tennessee, Food City #661 with a ribbon-cutting at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1. The store is located at 2221 Jacksboro Pike, Suite B1. This marks the company’s 39th Starbucks location, with a number of others planned. Starbucks offers a wide assortment of blended hot and cold coffees and beverages, including seasonal favorites, as well as an assortment of tasty breakfast sandwiches and pastries.

Food City has expanded its partnership with DoorDash, the local commerce platform, to include on-demand grocery delivery in 117 stores across five states, including Tennessee. The partnership also includes on-demand delivery of a wide assortment of fresh floral arrangements in participating localities. Customers can download the DoorDash app to take advantage of this convenient new service, which includes a wide range of grocery items from everyday essentials to fresh foods and floral arrangements prepared in-store. Once an order is placed, a Dasher will shop your order and deliver it directly to your door.

Food City also offers the added convenience of GoCart curbside pick-up, and online shopping for fresh-made deli items like party trays, special occasion cakes, holiday dinners, grab n’ go sandwiches and Shortcuts ready to heat and eat meals.
