On Saturday, May 21, the Holston Hills Garden Club will host its 7th annual plant sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Community Park at the intersection of Chilhowee Drive and Holston Hills Road. The event will go forward rain or shine.
Residents from Historic Holston Hills have been busy harvesting perennials, shrubs and trees from their gardens, as well as baking yummy treats, and gathering garden treasures for sale. There will be a variety of native plants, as well as other house and garden plants.
Come out and meet the neighbors, take home some delicious herbs and vegetables for your own garden, as well as hanging baskets and blooming annuals. Perhaps capture a vintage garden ornament or patio item for your own home. Or just catch up with old friendships and local gossip, perhaps with baked goodies in hand.
The proceeds from the sale help support the improvement and maintenance of the Community Park. Cash, check, Venmo, PayPal and credit cards will be accepted. Our volunteers hope to see you there.
