Hillcrest Healthcare Communities, which operates three skilled nursing, rehabilitation and long-term care facilities in Knoxville, celebrated “Everyone Matters Week” with an assortment of activities and special treats for the staff.

Hillcrest Healthcare associates showed their spirit on theme-based dress days, including Crazy Hat, Superhero, Team Spirit, Colors for a Cause, and Red White and Blue. Treats were delivered daily to the three facilities for every shift, and senior leadership prepared and served meals on every shift.

“It was truly an honor to be able to say thank you this way,” said Doug Bryant, director of human resources. “This event was so successful and well-received that we plan to keep holding it going forward.”

With 560 beds and more than 500 employees, Hillcrest Healthcare is the largest provider of skilled nursing care in Knoxville with locations at Beverly Park Place, Island Home Park and West Hills. The health care provider has been serving the community for more than 60 years with dedicated associates who provide rehab and long-term care services.

“Everyone Matters” is a cornerstone belief of the mission, vision and values of Hillcrest Healthcare. And senior leadership set aside a week for fun and activities to celebrate every associate for dedication and loyalty in the service of others. Simply said, Hillcrest decided to say: “You matter.”
