Halls Middle School performed Disney’s Aladdin Jr. on May 17-18 with multiple shows.

Lorrie Holbert captured a few photos from the performance and gathered quotes from several performers.

Easton Roberts who played Aladdin said, “I will always remember the friendships we all developed while working so hard on this show!! Thanks to the teachers and volunteers who helped us make it great!!”

Bella Jackson playing Jasmine, “These past few months have been amazing thanks to the cast and crew of Aladdin Jr! Every student and teacher involved in the production of this play dedicated so much time, love and support. This program has been a truly rewarding experience all three years at Halls Middle, and I will cherish all the memories and friendships forever.”

Will Reed as Genie: “The show made me feel like I could express myself in a way I usually wouldn’t have. I let myself meet new people and have new friends but also it let me live out a dream and truly made it seem that I had made it. Everyone worked so hard and by the end we were really a family. I truly loved every second of it, and thanks to all the people I worked with.”

Kampbelle Holbert: “Performing in Aladdin Jr. will forever be the highlight of my 8th grade year at Halls Middle School. The cast and crew are truly one big family. I am so thankful for the experience and for the sweet friendships I have made because of this production. To [Karen] Byrge, thank you for your encouragement and love these past two years. I will cherish these friendships and memories forever.”
