Grace Christian Academy and Christian Academy of Knoxville have participated in a fundraising competition since 2010 and their combined efforts have raised over $250K for HOPE with this year’s total reaching the most in campaign history: $37, 784.63.
Grace Christian Academy was declared the winner for this year’s fundraiser “Battle of the Bottles” trophy, named so in 2020 and centered around the GCA vs CAK basketball game on January 19.
GCA won the first-ever Battle of the Bottles trophy with CAK winning the trophy in 2022 and 2023.
2025 will serve as the tie-breaker fundraiser and looks to be another record-breaking year as both schools want to take home the Battle of the Bottle trophy.
