Farragut schools holding food drives for Love Kitchen

Farragut Primary School is partnering with the FHS Student Government Association to collect can goods and funds from November 4- 22 to support Knoxville’s Love Kitchen.

Two sisters had a mission to “Help feed God’s children,” beginning in 1984, after Helen Ashe first dreamed of the Love Kitchen with her twin sister Ellen Turner.

Both sisters have now passed on, Ellen in 2015 and Helen in 2018, but volunteers have continued their mission at the Love Kitchen, feeding the community in need.
