Thirty area restaurants, many with multiple locations, have signed on to support the 21st annual “Dine Out for Education” on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.
In past years, Knox County Schools has raised about $20,000 from the promotion, a joint effort of KCS and the Partners in Education (PIE) Foundation, as restaurants donate a percentage of their sales on this one day. Here is the link for all participating restaurants and locations.
Proceeds help fund PIE Foundation projects, which allows teachers and principals to request funding for needs that their budget does not often cover including technology, professional development and playground equipment. View our school needs list here.
