Betty Ann Riley Smith, 91, passed away on Feb. 27, 2023. She is survived by two sons, former Knox County Commissioner R. Larry Smith (wife, Sharon) and Richard (Vicki) Smith.
Her family moved to Oak Ridge during World War II so her father could work on the Manhattan Project. She was a member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church for over 65 years, serving as a deacon, elder and trustee. Obituary here.
