October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, making it a perfect time to share Benita’s story. Benita Albert recently reconnected with her former student, Dr. Lindsay Luttrell, during a core biopsy at Oak Ridge Breast Center.
After her mother’s breast cancer diagnosis, Benita became proactive about screenings, leading her to Dr. Luttrell, a compassionate radiologist and a breast cancer survivor. Thanks to early detection, Benita received the wonderful news that her tumor was benign.
