Questions, questions, questions! “What to do with left-over medications when a prescription changes? What to do with credit card offers or paperwork that can be tossed but it has personal data on it? I am now a caregiver for a loved one and I don’t know where to get legal paperwork or extra services. Want answers?

These are just some of the questions that will be answered at the Aging Resource Fair being offered this Friday, October 20, 2023, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. at Carter Senior Center, 9036 Asheville Highway.

While the resource fair will include medication take-back for the Carter community, everyone is welcome.

A wide variety of organizations and businesses that serve Knox County will be present to answer questions and give information on programs available to assist families, caregivers and older adults: Office on Aging, Knox County Sherriff’s Office, Metro Drug Coalition, East Tennessee Human Resource Agency, Area Agency on Aging and Disability and Knox County Public Library.

There will be a document shredding service provided for up to two legal boxes of documents per person.
