The Knoxville History Project is once again participating with Old Gray Cemetery’s annual fundraiser, Spirits of Old Gray, leading personal tours of the 171-year-old memorial gardens. This burial place for several thousand Knoxvillians is also an officially sanctioned arboretum.

The event is Sunday, Oct. 17, from 4-7 p.m. (rain or shine). Entrance fee is $5 for all attendees aged 10 and older.

Food and drink vendors will be on site. Walking tours will be provided for those interested. Carriage rides have been postponed until further notice. Pay upon entry with cash or credit card. No reservation is required. Parking for this event will be at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Volunteer Ministry Center, and neighboring parking lots. Old Gray Cemetery is located at 543 N. Broadway.
