The first week of March is in the books. Temperatures are on the rise, and we are drawing near to longer days with the spring forward of Daylight-Saving Time. Hopefully, these are some things we can all look forward to together in these trying times.
To accompany that good news, I am proud to report our real estate market is still booming. Last week we recorded 372 Warranty Deeds on property worth $110.74 million. This exceeds the last week of February by approximately 100 documents and $40 million in value. The largest of these was a commercial transfer of the property located at 5107 Homberg Drive. Aslan Foundation purchased the property from Homberg Partners LLC for $1.315 million on March 3, 2021. It was the only commercial transfer valued over $1 million during the week.
On the mortgage and refinancing side of things 776 Trust Deeds were recorded on property valued at $188.19 million. This exceeds the week prior by 232 documents and nearly $48 million in value. There were several lenders with loans greater than $1 million. They are:
- Citizens Bank – $4.76 million
- Smart Bank – $3.16 million
- Simply Bank – $2.83 million
- Pinnacle Bank – $1.70 million
- Pinnacle Bank – $1.35 million
- Bank of America – $1.24 million
- Pinnacle Bank – $1.12 million
- Pinnacle Bank – $1.09 million
As we anticipate longer days and warmer temperatures, I also look forward to seeing how the market moves. Generally, building increases as we get into spring and summer so we will see if that holds true during these unusual times. Get outside and enjoy the sunshine we are going to have this week if you are at all able, it’s good for the soul. Stay safe and healthy and have a great week!
