Services will be Saturday for Martha Collette Bailey, 78, of West Knoxville. She taught for almost 20 years at Karns Elementary School. She and husband Jay were active supporters of Young Life and led classes for young adults at First Baptist Concord in the 1970s.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by husband Jay Bailey; sons, Jim (and Sloan) Bailey, Keith (and Andrea) Bailey, and Steve (and Mary) Bailey; and seven grandchildren. The family will have a Celebration of Life service at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church, 9132 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27, with the Rev. Clay Harrington officiating.
