Grace Baptist Church is giving away Thanksgiving boxes to 1,000 families that arrive and stay for the service on Saturday, November 23, 9-10:30 a.m. at the Boys and Girls Club at 967 Irwin St. Knoxville.
These boxes contain everything needed to prepare a Thanksgiving meal for a family of five or more, including a turkey, dessert and all sides.
This year, Grace is giving away 20 $500 Food City Food and Fuel Vouchers.
The doors open at 9 a.m. with a service from 10-10:30. All boxes and vouchers will be given out after the service. Recipients must be present and stay for the entire service to be eligible.
This is the sixth year Grace has held this event for the community. Over 1,000 members of the church family give and serve at this event each year.
