Rockford, Tennessee, sits in northern Blount County, proud and unassuming. She is quiet and genuine, not asking for the attention sought by Blount sisters Alcoa and Maryville.
The Little River runs through the town leaving a rocky ford where early settlers could ford (yes, a noun and a verb), netting the name.
Painting this century farm was such a treat. Can you feel the warmth of the uncut hay? Smell the honeysuckle? The day was as smooth as sweet tea and guitar picking, both of which showed up at noon.
