Christian Academy of Knoxville opened its new Christian Life Center (CLC) on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, with a brief dedication and a tour of the facility.
This state-of-the-art center is designed to enrich the spiritual lives of CAK students and families while supporting their academic growth, according to CAK leaders.
The CLC is equipped with the largest digital wall of any school in the southeastern region, measuring 18-feet x 48-feet. This versatile feature will be used for fine arts performances, presentations, digital backgrounds and musical theater scenery. The new facility will host weekly chapel services, STEM competitions, spelling bees, robotics events, and other spiritual and academic activities.
“Our Building His Masterpiece campaign has always been about leading and growing our CAK community into a deeper relationship with Christ,” said Rich Fulford, head of school.
“The opening of the CLC is the final piece that will allow our students to use their gifts and talents to honor Him in an even greater way.” Fulford said the board of directors and school leadership team are excited “to present this new facility to the entire CAK community.”
