Marble Springs State Historic Site, in partnership with the University of Tennessee Physics and Astronomy Department, will host a Stargazing Night on Saturday, October 12, 7- 11 p.m. at Marble Springs State Historic Site, 1220 W. Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville.

This free event will give participants the opportunity to explore the night sky with telescopes provided by UT’s Physics and Astronomy Department. Visitors can expect to see constellations, planets and possibly a meteor shower, guided by expert astronomers.

Participants are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for comfort while observing the night sky.
