Gourmet Market & Café as the sign reads or Holly’s Gourmet Market as is online, at 5107 Kingston Pike, was highly recommended by many readers and a delicious treat for this Dining Duo.
Serving breakfast and lunch all day, the menu has endless options.
Breakfast offers everything from cereal and classic breakfasts to egg burritos, omelettes and bennies. Of course, there are pancakes and waffles.
Lunch offers a variety of sandwiches from paninis to quesadillas as well as soups and salads.
Fun names like Frog in the Ditch, Toad in the Hole, MeatHead and Hambright Club will grab your attention to the contents of the dish.
One of us chose a chef salad with broccoli cheddar soup. The other chose the specialty club sandwich with three kinds of thinly sliced meat and cheeses with lettuce and tomato on specialty bread.
The choices were brought out timely and fresh; they tasted delicious and offered more than enough to satisfy our appetites. Boxes again came home.
The Café is open from 8-2, seven days a week.
