Fewer sights are more serene than a sunrise in the Southern Appalachians.

When the morning light encourages colors of blue, green, gold as purple to appear, an intimacy with the sunrise is created with the viewer.

Clouds advance the natural soliloquy, as the scene presents itself likened to a Shakespearean monologue where the surroundings afford the witness a dynamic palette that can best absorbed in person.

Photos certainly permit the visual monologue to expand its audience to many more people, allowing an interpretation by not one photographer but by thousands of persons now able to see the scene.

A soliloquy intended for a solitary man becomes a panorama of the joys of nature through the art form of photography.
