Brain Tumor Awareness Month is nationally recognized in the United States during the month of May. My friend and Lonsdale physical education teacher, Julie Lowe, has dealt with brain tumors affecting her daily function for years.
In honor of her battle, the entire staff wore gray for Brain Tumor Awareness Month to show their love and support for her.
Principal Will Smith says, “She means so much to our school and pours her heart and soul into our community. We are so blessed to have her!”
