Excitement abounds at Realty Executives Associates, demonstrated by the gathering of 850 agents at World’s Fair Park to celebrate achievements.
Justin Bailey, chief executive officer, was in Washington, D.C., as a board member of the National Association of Realtors visited with Tennessee Sens. Marsha Blackburn and Bill Heagerty and Rep. Tim Burchett during Realtors legislative meetings May 4-9.
Daniel Park, REA agent, won the peer-nominated 2023 Burkey Award, one of the highest honors at Realty Executives Associates Inc. and Realty Executives International. Local agents nominate an agent who is professional, classy, equitable, ethical and overall a good example for the industry. Daniel embodies those traits so well, so I cannot think of a better person for this award. It is named in honor of Knoxvillian Vance Burkey, founder of Realty Executives Associates.
Kyle Basila, director of communications/PR at Realty Executives, served as co-chair of Dogwood Arts this year, calling it “exhausting but fun.”
Dogwood Arts: Realty Executives continued its three-year partnership with Dogwood Arts. Each of the 13 Dogwood Trails is sponsored by an REA agent. The trails cover more than 90 miles in 13 neighborhoods. The west area trails were featured this year.
Great Smoky Mountains National Park: April 20-28 was National Park Week and Realty Executives is proud to be a supporter of GSMNP and Friends of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the official non-profit for the park. There are over 800 miles of hiking trails, and around 2,900 miles of streams throughout the park.
One Knoxville SC, Knoxville’s professional soccer club, announced an official and exclusive partnership with Realty Executives for the 2024 season. The partnership will be focused on highlighting Realty Executives’ greatest strength – the roster of talented and hard-working agents.
