Kimberly Trame has been promoted to director of rental assistance for the Section 8 housing programs at Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation (KCDC).
“Kim has served as an integral part of our team, growing and expanding her expertise in the operation and oversight of key programs,” said Ben Bentley, KCDC executive director and CEO.
Trame joined the organization in July 2008 and has held four positions, most recently serving as special programs administrator. In her new role, she oversees the 14-person Section 8 department, engages with community partners and manages several programs, including the Housing Choice Voucher and Project-Based Voucher programs.
Trame is committed to serving the community, including as an active member of Knoxville-Knox County Homeless Coalition and a founding board member of the Christopher Willett Life Skills Partners organization.
She has two adult children and lives in Halls with her husband and their Yorkshire Terrier.
