Many of life’s best views are worth the effort. Not everyone climbs the mountain, crosses the bridge or looks around the corner. The rewards found can seal the deal for future adventures.
This painting is from a favorite location of mine, Seven Islands State Birding Park. Down Kelly Lane there is a second barn with the quilt pattern called “Swallows at the Windows.” Painting from a photo of the barn and silo overseeing the field of zinnias, I love the warm colors and feeling of the day.
Not everyone will recognize this spot. Venture just a little farther into the park and see what treasures you can find.
Did you know there is also a third barn to explore?
