Knox County Schools will host three meetings in the coming weeks to gather feedback about rezoning for a new elementary school, which is under construction in northwest Knox County.
These meetings are an important opportunity for Knox County families to learn more about the rezoning process and factors that will affect the new school’s attendance boundaries. The meetings will be recorded and available for viewing at knoxschools.org/rezoning, and questions or comments can be submitted to rezoning@knoxschools.org.
The planned school is scheduled for completion in fall 2023, and a final recommendation about rezoning will be presented to the community on Sept. 22.
Meetings to gather feedback will be held at:
Ball Camp Elementary, Wednesday, August 31, 6-7 p.m., 9801 Middlebrook Pike
Karns Elementary, Wednesday, Sept. 7, 6-7 p.m., 8108 Beaver Ridge Road
Hardin Valley Elementary, Thursday, September 8, 6-7 p.m., 11445 Hardin Valley Road.
