• Great Schools Partnership has given $10,000 to the Knox County Schools’ Teacher Supply Depot to pay for additional classroom supplies for Knox County teachers. Great Schools Partnership president Stephanie Welch presented the donation in May.
  • Beat-up golf carts at the city-owned Whittle Springs Golf Course are gone. Sixty new carts are motoring over the course’s three-year-old cart paths – a combined investment of almost $700,000 since 2015. Info here.
