The office was busy recording 290 Warranty Deeds and 379 Trust Deeds during the first week of October. Warranty Deeds had a total over $121 million; 14 of those were properties valued at more than a million dollars including three commercial properties.
The most valuable transaction was for a small apartment complex on Tazewell Pike in the Fountain City area. Eduardo Bertoli sold the Briarwood Apartments at 3305 Tazewell Pike to Marlow Briarwood LLC for $4.6 million.
Another multi-family dwelling was among the high value properties. This one includes a triangular parking lot and sits on the corner of W Magnolia Ave and W Depot. The Whist Court Apartment building located at 417 W Depot Ave. was sold by Depot Properties Inc to Triangular J Ventures LLC for $1.8 million.
DCB Capital LLC is the new owner of 13 homes in East Knoxville, most on East Fifth but all in the same neighborhood. DCB purchased the properties from a private trust for $1.97 million.
A property in Farragut has changed hands for the second time in two months. Lemonade MM Knoxville Farragut LLC purchased the former BB&T Bank building at 11140 Kingston Pike in July. Last week, Lemonade MM Knoxville Farragut LLC sold the building to Home Service Corporation for $1.9 million.
The 379 Trust Deeds had a total over $169 million with three lenders funding jumbo loans last week. Greystone Servicing Company LLC lent $24.7 million, Walker & Dunlop LLC funded $18.85 million, and Arbor Agency Lending LLC lent $18.4 million. The other lenders with million-dollar loans were:
