Knoxville Children’s Theatre will present Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella: Youth Edition from Friday, July 12, until Sunday, July 28, with multiple showtimes available.
KCT, in partnership with the Clayton Foundation, will present this one-hour musical adaptation of the timeless tale with 17 talented young actors from ages 10 to 16.
- Cinderella will be played by Tinsley Clinton with Azariah Arnold playing the prince.
- KCT veterans Addison White and Jenna Blumberg will play the Stepmother and the Queen, respectively.
- Lydia Komeshak will play the Godmother, Kira Bellamy will play Joy, and Jesse Watson will play Portia.
- Joining the cast are KCT veterans Tessa Arwe, Nora Halliburton, Camila Herrera, Allison Loveday, Colette Munyon and Afton Schuh.
- Making their KCT debuts are Kohl Guillory, Ella Olinzock, Golden Littlejohn and Robbie Mitchell.
This production is directed by KCT Directing Intern Maddy Grace Payne with musical direction by Teresa Seals and choreography by Donya Walker.
The play is designed by 17 young student designers from ages 9 to 17.
- KCT veteran Janie Long will provide the scenic design with assistance from James Carpenter, Addy Kate Thomas, Sydney Berney and Zeb Brockman.
- KCT veteran Elliott Norton will provide the lighting design.
- KCT veteran Ava Reagan will design and build the costumes with assistance from Eiley Rickman, Julia Lance, Indra Mynatt, Cat Vy Stallworth, Isabella Summers and Scarlett Cooper.
- The prop masters are Meredith Harper, Zee Carnes, Chloe Beeler, Hartley Narron, Zoe Brockman and Layne Templeton. Percy Petit will serve as dresser.
- The play’s stage manager is Emma Reagan with assistant stage manager Madisyn Beckman
