The third week of June 2024, a 4-day workweek, ended with 1,318 new documents in the Knox County records. Among the total recordings were 241 property transfers with a total value of $102.6 million. There were eight properties with sales prices over $1 million, but only two were commercial properties.

One of the commercial tracts that sold was home to Rocky Top Customs at 3900 Middlebrook Pike. The Willayne E. Towe Christian Foundation sold the 2.39-acre property, which is visible from I-640/275, to Median Properties LLC for $1.13 million.

The second high value transfer was the Shell convenience store at the corner of Brown Gap Road and Maynardville Pike. It was a family-owned business that transferred to Boghani Properties LLC for $1.1 million.

Lending accounted for 317 of the deeds with a cumulative value of $147.86 million. Wilson Bank & Trust funded the largest loan of the week for $17 million and Extra Space Storage LP is the beneficiary of a $7.6 million loan. First Citizens Bank & Trust had two on the list of million-dollar loans, one for $1.14 million and the other for $1 million. The others were:
